"Filter Drawing Series"

Using reclaimed wine filters made of diatomaceous earth/ pearlite panels as a substrate since 2016. Untitled, 16"x 16" the original scale is not altered. The 3/8" depth of the panel allows for excavating the surface in similar methods used in making the Homasote Paintings. Later processes include the application of acrylic paint, watercolor pencils and graphite dust. Each is coated with a Poly-acrylic satin finish and artist made frame.
